Internship #13 Jan 26th

1. In this picture I'm actually switching out the old display screens. The newer ones that I'm putting in are a lot bigger, better quality, and widescreens. Well most of them are.

2. This is the conference room, where I was installing new software onto the brand new computers. On the screen, you can see that I was in the process of creating the list of things that the computer should have when you first turn it on.

3. Now this right hear, is the head honcho of the internet. This is basicly where all of the hardwired computer cable cords go to connect to the internet. Also, this is where the router and modem are at.

Internship #11 Jan 22nd

The highlights of my week were going to different meetings, and meeting people who wanted to make a difference in their surrounding community around them. Like when I met Jimmie Slack, who is a councilman. Some of the challenges were understanding what the people in the meeting were talking about at time because I had to be able to be professional, and be a good representative for not only my organization, but my school, too. Also, when Iwas named scriber-- someone who writes the notes/ideas on a white board or big notepad from the meeting-- It was a little bit of a challenge getting the ideas and other important things down, but I caught on after a while, and was complimented on how well they said I did. There were quite a few memorable things. One I think is the most was when Ms. Helen (one of the workers at ACT) said that I made up for all three of the interns that were there before me. And that she never would've thought that the little boy who was always with his mom (she used to work with my mom), would become such a nice young man. (It was something like that, I don't remember directly but it was very close)

Internship #8 Jan 19th

Choice A
- Having good laughs while in a professional environment is something that I would like to develop more in. Being optimistic, even when you had a bad situation before getting to the workplace. There were lots of good qualities that I saw in people. Like when everyone was in the kitchen they offered me some coffee (wasn't decaf), and so I'm already hyper as it is, but I didn't look sleepy like I did and I greeted everyone because of the way the environment is. I even showed someone and IPhone game app. that they liked. Being surrounded hard working people who know what to do when to do it, it has help me grow to become a better student, I guess.
