Internship #2 Jan 8th

1. What have you actively done to start off on the right note?
- So far, everytime I enter time I come onto the office for the first time, I greet everyone by saying hello or good morning and a hug, if it's a woman, or a firm handshake, if it's a man.

2. What have you actively done to create interesting opportunities for yourself?
- I've listened carefully to work my mentor was telling me. I've completely understood what had to be done and did it. I also am familiar with the software, and am capable of aiding the seniors in and out of the car, and being of any other assistance.

3. What have you actively done to advance the interest of your mentor and/or site?
- I stay focus on an assignment I was given, even when the rest of the people in the office are taking breaks and they offer me to take one, I politely say that I'm fine and that I want to finish the assignment in front of me first. I have a lot of experience with the elderly, so my mentor is very impressed by how I work and cope with seniors and how I help them in a way to help them not me.

4. What can you do in the immediate future to improve yourself and your experience in the above areas?
- I can continue to have a positive attitude in the work place. Whenever I do walk in there my whole attitude changes no matter what because it shows that I'm there to work and not there to get sympathy for my problems outside of the work place. Continue to be kind and helpful to the elderly, because you never know how helpful you are to them. And just stay on top of things, stay organized with which software is on which computer.
